It's a scam!

After looking online, it looks like the pattern is always the same. Booked an apartment in Seattle in August for about 1500$, they cancelled the reservation a few days before, claiming that they would have provided a full refund. It's November now and of course the refund has never arrived. It's impossible to contact them: the number they provide is inactive, you can only send email which for the most part are ignored. When they reply, they just send a standard text asking to wait 30 days or give puerile excuses to avoid refunding you. I was literally told "our processor is broken, we cannot refund you now". After writing this review, I will send all the information to anti-fraud police.

They are renting units out for less than 30 days when NYC law (and perhaps other cities they operate in) permits subletting for 30 days or more. That alone is illegal. Source says the addresses and pictures posted online are false as well for "security reasons" is what they were told. Additionally, it appears as though they're paying for positive reviews. Several positive reviewers of SoBe also reviewed "NY Apartments" with similarly worded accounts and at the same timeframe. Other reviewers only had 1 review and it was positive and of SoBe. The positive reviews all come at similar times as well (i.e. 6 months ago, 8 months ago, etc.). Negative reviewers claim they lost money as the company never got back to them. Additionally, it's hard to pin down who they are. Is it Corp Housing Group? SoBe NYC? NY Apartments? Something is very off.
