I called smartairfare after going online to search for cheap airline tickets. Liam was the rep who booked my flight. I received an itinerary for 6 people to fly Allegiant. I was sent an email to confirm my payment. Once I did this I checked with Allegiant and I had an actual itinerary. This happened in July 2021. We were set to travel Dec 24th. On Dec 9th I checked online with Allegiant to see about my flight and if there would be any Covid requirements. My status said cancelled. I called Allegiant directly and they said that I was scammed because my tickets actually cost almost $1000 more than I paid for them. She explained that this is what they do, they give fake or stolen voucher numbers to cover the rest of the cost. This gives them time to get the itinerary to us. When the airline realizes that the vouchers aren't any good, they cancel the trip. What a nightmare this has been.
