His Actual name is Norman Shayne Slinn - he goes by an alias on Facebook. After some investigating I found out he is actually a mortgage broker in Edmonton Alberta and claims to be a tax accountant. He is scamming thousands and thousands of Canadians on Disability doing their “tax returns” which they can do for free claiming he can find “missing funds”. He scammed me out of money. He is in a Facebook group and all posts over social media targeting people on disability. There is no business number that I was able to find for “Slinntax” which is the “business” he runs. He is and runs a Facebook group currently with 15,000 members for all Canadians looking for support about the disability tax credit - doing their tax reassessments for them and charging $50 a tax year which can be done for free by the CRA.

We are very happy that we were able to assist the family that wrote the review and they seemed happy as well. We were able to obtain a sizeable initial refund for them. As we continued to work with the family, we learned that they failed to disclose some relevant details surrounding their family situation. The CRA deemed that due to the particular detail they omitted, whether intentionally or through ignorance, they were not eligible to transfer credits for several years. When we learned that they were denied these credits, we did issue them a refund for those years even though this was an issue between the family and the CRA and we had already done the work.
We know the work we do is valuable and we are passionate about helping people. We were very saddened to read such a negative review when we know we helped this family get all of the credits and benefits they were entitled to. We love what we do and we will continue to assist individuals and families to maximize their credits and benefits in relation to the Disability Tax Credit.
While we are in no way affiliated with nor do we admin this Facebook group, we have spent the last three years assisting group members in obtaining refunds after being approved for the Disability Tax Credit. The group can be joined here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/disabilitytaxcredit

H&R block also charges for doing people’s taxes when they can do them themselves, it’s called payment for time and services provided. SlinnTax got my reassessment done and my money to me within a week. It would have otherwise taken MONTHS. I’ll pay them the $50 GLADLY.
