I was contacted by this company stating that they work with people to get their student loans forgiveness. They ask me what company I was with and told me that they were being sued for not communicating with their clients. I was told that this company would work with my current company and pay off the loan and they would take it over for 199$ a month for 6 months and then it would be 20$ a month for 84 months at which time my student loan would be paid in full. I then received notification that 199$ was taken out of my checking account then notified by my current company that has my student loan that I was approved for a forbearance which is a stop in payment and that my payment would continue in 1 year. This is when I knew I had been scammed.
