We were looking for a Xolo dog (hairless dog) and this website came up with several puppies available. If you were interested in a puppy you could click on the "Contact us" tab and submit your name, email, phone number, address, which puppy you were interested in and a brief message. We received a text message asking if we were interested and we corresponded back and forth. We were sent a video and several pictures of the puppy we were interested in. The price for the puppy was $800 plus $210 for shipping him since we were out of state. We also spoke to the "seller, John Kurt" on the phone. We received a contract regarding the puppy, made the first Zelle payment of $500, we received shipping information on the puppy. The seller would be using PEM Logistics. We received an email and phone call from PEM Logistics regarding shipment of the puppy. We made the 2nd Zelle payment of $500. We then received another email from PEM Logistics asking for $1495 to insure the puppy or he would be kept in quarantine for 2 months. PEM Logistics had an address in Los Angeles and upon further investigation, they are out of Nigeria. We contacted the seller and asked for a refund because we were not informed we would have to pay $1495 to insure the puppy. "John" stated the puppy had already been dropped off at the shipping company, go ahead and pay the $1495 as it was fully refundable upon delivery. We said no and requested refund. We have not received any response back.
