I saw an ad for a Yorkie on June 16th on Craigslist, I inquired about the puppy, Erika Smith said yes she had a male Yorkie, I was thrilled, she said she got it as a birthday present and they were getting too old for puppies and wanted to get rid of them, to a good family. She told me all I had to pay was 300.00, and it would shipped to me from Skyline Ways. A man, by the name of Madjka called me and told me to check my email, it read that I had to buy a crate for transportation to keep the puppy safe, 1000.00, I did get very upset but complied, he told me my dog would be at my home at 8:45 p.m. Then he called again saying they needed 2000.00 more for vaccinations or he couldn't fly, I was irate, calling them scammers and other choice words but he reassured me my would be there at 9:00 p.m. I stupidly complied again. A couple hours later he called again saying they needed 2000.00 more because of certification papers, dog therapy etc, he again after I screamed at him for wanting more money but he promised this was the last time he would need money. I stupidly complied. Now my dog wouldn't be there till 9 am, I called Robyn Michaels, (who I have been talking to from Skyline Ways, for everything, e said to check my email, low and behold, I get another email that I would have to rent a special crate because of his age, 1000.00 more, I cussed at him, refusing to give more money and he swears the puppy would be delivered at 9 am, he was excited for me, really encouraging me on, stupidly complied. This morning June 18th, 2020, Robyn Michaels calls me at 8:55 am and I answered with, "where's my puppy?" He replied with, have you checked your email, I said, why do I need to check my email, he said just do it. Low and behold, the puppy can't be sent without certification papers and the wanted 7,000! Now I forgot to mention that through all of Mr.Michael's and I'd conversations that he told me I would be reimbursed for my money, over again and again he told me that, so at this point he owed me 4,000 dollars! I went off, I screamed and cried at him. Please understand that I live alone, I have 2 types of cancer, disabled and severe osteoarthritis. I am lonely and depressed. He kept telling me madam we will work this out. I told him I do not have any more money, he then offered to pay 2,000 dollars, which I replied I DON'T HAVE 5,000 DOLLARS! Eventually, I lied to him and said I only have 100 dollars, which he replied, ok, I will pay the rest, my soon to be son-in-law, walked in, he gets scared when he sees how upset I am, I hung up on Mr. Michaels and broke down and told Brandon everything, a few minutes later Mr. Michaels calls and Brandon answers and really told him off! A few minutes later Mr. Michaels calls back and starts eerily laughing for a long time! I forgot something else, he threatened me with 25 years of hard labor if I didn't comply. He is evil, they all must stopped

I responded to an ad on Craigslist for Basset Hound puppies with Bakersfield, CA as the location. I received an email from Andy Smith, [email protected], saying they had a male and female, 11 week old basset pups that they couldn’t keep because they had to move and the apartment wouldn’t allow pets. He asked my location. He listed his location as Austin, TX. The pups were free, just had to pay transportation costs. I explained our situation and why we wanted the pups. I said I was willing to come and pick up the pups (1700 miles each way) and they said there was a place that would ship them and we’d have the dogs in 24 hours, “delivered to our doorstep.” I felt a bit suspicious that they didn’t take me up on my offer to pick up the pups in person because the second email said they wished I was closer so they could meet the person getting the pups. They claimed the pups were a birthday present so they didn’t pay for them and were passing them along for no charge, except transportation. I thought it strange that given the pups were only “11weeks” old they weren’t contacting the breeder to take them back or returning them to the person that gave them the pups.

They sent an email with detailed info on the pups appearance and personalities. The pup was going to be for my granddaughter and we were already making plans for the trip to pick them up. Next I got an email saying they had sent the shipper the info about the pups and I’d be contacted. I got a call from Atlanta, Georgia (678-561-6752) a man with a thick accent saying I would get an email with info on how to pay shipping costs. The email said to remit payment to a CashApp account Cashtag $asa72, Samuel Hills

RED FLAGS

I searched and couldn’t find a company Skyline Airways (except a company in Costa Rica which only flies in CR)

They said company is Skyline Airways, but email domain is skylineways

Thought it odd they would not allow me to pick up the pups

The pics sent showed a pup with an autumn setting, professional pics with fall decor, but the pups were supposedly born in December. Why would current pics have a fall theme, not Easter, spring or summer theme?
