Received two separate invoices from a company named SkinStore showing order details for high priced beauty items including facial cleansers, etc. SkinStore is a company I had never heard of nor had I ordered any products online so I knew the invoices had to be wrong and suspected it was a scam so went online and looked up SkinStore and saw that there were numerous complaints against it. The invoices did not look like typical invoices in that it had no real information such as an actual credit card number (it only listed the prices supposedly charged which totaled well over $600) and it had a box to click to "create an account" which didn't make sense if you consider you would most likely have an account already created if you have placed an actual order. Also, the invoice it had written: "Note: For Credit Card and Paypal orders payment is not taken until point of dispatch." It had no shipping costs listed or ship date and the date of order was the date the email was sent out. They also spelled out PayPal incorrectly. So everything about the invoice was suspicious. Shipping details said: Rose Mangler, 5424 E Highway 246, Lompoc, CA United States. This is not me. I neither clicked anything nor did I call. I also checked my bank accounts. At the end of the day, I received two new emails from SkinStore saying the order was cancelled and for more information to "click help centre." I believe it was another attempt to get some kind of response or click. Please investigate.
