I began to become suspicious by the manner they communicated, and never answered the phones as Sinoway,,,, only “shopping department” also all numbers were 844, none were local to West Virginia...
I googled the address, made some calls, and found there was no Sinoway there, other business, and none of them had heard if a Sinoway.
I called the secretary of states office in West Virginia and spoke to investigation.... theism said the business had a legitimate LLC, but as I had already Uncovered, there was no business by the name if Sinoway there...
I started to search the web fir the business, nothing, but I found a few scam reviews, I then became worried because I had already shipped a few packages, and was waiting for shipping labels from the so called company to ship others.... I had 3 very expensive computer monitors, each about 900 to 1000 each.
I felt I had catered enough I formation that the company was a scam, I informed them I would not send anymore packages, and was calling local law enforcement.... they tried to coincidence me the company was real, I was a good employee.. yada yada.... I refused to send the last packages .....
They sent me “legal action emails” telling me that their legal team would handle me if I didn’t mail the packages, and I was under a contract with the company, i told them..... if your legal team is at the same address as your business, I’m not too worried, because the address doesn’t exist !!
Anyway, the mor o searches YouTube, I found people and news channels reporting this same type of scam, and how it works. I felt very nieve, but I guess with the COVID pandemic, i was really wanting a job from home after retirement.
Anyway, they told me I would still get paid for work done, and a direct deposit on 12 feb..... well, that never happened. they disconnected all the phones, when I call it’s a busy signal. Same story everyone else reports
