I recently posted an ad on Craigslist for a vehicle. Shortly after publishing the post, I was contacted by a person who asked me to “grab a vin report” with a link. The link redirected me to “https://myautohistoryreport.com/index_b.php“ and before entering any information it was obvious to me that this was a scam. If I pay for a vin report it will be through a trusted business such as Carfax.com. Steer clear of these type of sites and people, they only want your bank account or credit car information.
