Approximately three weeks ago I received a telephone call from a gentleman with a foreign accent stating that he had an offer for a free back brace. I did not feel comfortable talking to him so another gentleman came to the phone. The second gentleman was supposedly a supervisor and he stated that he was from Medicare and that they were offering a free back brace and they moved around to different areas offering these to people. I went ahead and provided him my information which included medical history and my Medicare Number, which is my SSN. After he took the information he said it would be a couple of weeks and I would hear from a doctor who would take information on my history and they would then order the brace. As of this date, I have not heard anything back.
