I was sent a text from Angel Acevedo an Indeed Recruiter at 309-550-5187 about a CSR/Support Specialist position paying $27/hour from Signpost and was told to download Telegram and message Id:@bty8b if interested in job, Id belongs to a Kelly Matt-Hiring Manager for Signpost we discussed the position work duties went through interview, was accepted and got a job offer letter everything normal but then to get started they were wanting to send checks via email for cost of work materials non specified and mentioned a macbook would be mailed to be first check was for 4,9,75.00 on 4/16/24addressed to me from Signpost through Randolph Brooks FCU bank to be deposited to my Wells Fargo account, check was rejected was flagged as counterfeit, after speaking with my bank and explained what happened I was advised to contact the hiring company. After explaining what happened to Kelly Matt I was informed that was an accounting error so check was flagged, and tried again this time was broken up into 2 checks sent via email one fore $3999.00 and another for $999.00 on 4/17/24this time from signpost via JPMorgan Chase Bank NA both were flagged as counterfeit and now currently trying to work with wells fargo as they are now in process of trying to close my bank account for fraud. I reached out to Kelly Matt about this and has ignored attempts to communicate or inquire about explanation of process. All checked were sent via email and was instructed to print out cut extra paper off and scan in deposit with mobile deposit feature.
