Siddons Martin Emergency Group impostor Reports & Reviews (1)

I was applying for remote jobs. I received an email from a Lora Braun, saying she was interested in hiring me. She sent a legit looking employment contract with the address of a well known business in Texas. I looked up the address and the business. Those were all real. I did a few simple assignments that were emailed to me (advertising and the like). Then on the third day, she emailed me saying that she was sending me a check to cash, I was to keep $113 of it for commission, then forward the remaining $1774.26 to someone later on. I started to think this was not correct business protocol. I called the corporate number for the company this woman was claiming to be from, and they said not only does she not work for them, but they don’t have any remote jobs, and they never send any checks for others to cash and later reimburse others with.
