I received multiple phone calls from a man claiming that I've won $100,000 from Wal-Mart. He told me that I was the grand prize winner from a shoppers awards website. He said that a UPS truck was going to stop by my house in the next morning with a check for me. Then he was going to meet me at my house to take pictures after UPS had left. So when the morning came around he started calling me making up excuses as to why UPS and him didn't come to my house. He then says oh no you have to go to your bank and get a cashiers check of $550 for a "regerstration fee". He tells me that after I do this then I just need to go to any walmart & send it to him with a code that he will give me to put it in a Merchants Bank. He said that after I did this then he would meet me at the Wal-Mart I was at along with UPS. I told him that if I had really won the money he claimed I had then I would give him his $550 "registration fee" only after I received the prize money. I even told him to meet me at the bank inside Wal-Mart with it if he truly wasn't trying to scam me. He constantly kept saying no and making up excuses, and that he had to have $550 before I got anything. I told him that if I had actually won that there wouldn't be any fee. I said that the only "fee" I would have to really pay would be taxes.
