I contacted this seller after I saw an online advertisement for Shih tzu puppies. I left an online inquiry about the availability of one of the puppies and received an email stating that he was a private breeder with 25 years experience as a Shihtzu breeder. As such he was offering a 40% discount for one week on Drew because he and wife would have some new litters soon and would not have as much time time for all of the babies. He provided pictures of Drew. The email asked several questions about 1) whether I had owned a Shihtzu or other pets before, and other questions that a responsible breeder would ask to determine the suitability of the puppy's new home. I asked several questions about the parents and requested health information and pictures. I also requested information about the puppy's potty training, crate training, deworming status and client reference information. I received a response that contained a contract from Andrew Claude and instructions for payment by Zelle or American Express gift card. I was told that the puppy would be shipped immediately at no additional cost because he had free shipping coupons available this week. He also said I would receive a notification of shipment and I could pick up the puppy at the airport or arrange for delivery to my home. I became leery of the payment terms and googled Andrew's full name from the contract and discovered others that stated they had been scammed by this person using other online listings and phone numbers.

A breeder Named Jessica Young and John Blaise scammed me for 700. They wanted gift cards. Wanted me to take pictures of them to verify I had them and would meet to deliver puppy and I would give them the Visa gift cards. They never showed up and used the Visa cards from pictures I sent. Innocent stupid me thought you had to physical have gift cards to use. Nope all you need is numbers and the CID number on back..

WE PURCHASED A SHIH TZU PUPPY NAMED TURKEY FROM MARL ROBSON AT SHIH TZU BREEDERS HOMES. VERY IMPRESSSIVE WEBSITE. THE 700.00 PAID WAS TO INCLUDE AIR SHIPPING TO OUR HOME. A CONTRACT OF PURCHASE WAS PRESENTED AND WE SIGNED ON 9/17/20. WE WERE TO AY VIA WESTERN UNION. I DID A TRANSFER OF FUNDS ON LINE WITH WESTERN UNION, MONEY TO BE AVAILABLE IN 5 DAYS. SENT THE INFO TO HIM AND HE SAID TO CANCEL THE ON LINE AND GO TO A WESTERN UNION STORE TO SEND IT, MONEY AVAILABLE SAME DAY. I FOLLOWED HIS INSTRUCTIONS, SENT THE MONEY. HE GOT THE CASH AND SAID HE WAS SHIPPING THE DOG THAT DAY. NEXT WE HEARD FROM THE SHIPPING COMPANY WHO WANTED 1,500.00 FOR A ELECTRONIC CRATE. WE CONTACTED ROBSON AND TOLD HIM TO TAKE CARE OF IT SINCE HE AGREED TO SHIP THE PUPPY AS PART OF THE PURCHASE PRICE. AFTER CALLING HIM AND HAVING HIM HANG UP ON BOTH OF US, WE KNEW WE HAD BEEN HAD. HE NO LNGER ANSWERS CALLS FROM US NOR DOES HE RESPOND TO EMAILS. WHAT A MISERABLE CROOK HE IS. BUT HE SEEMS TO BE VERY SMART AT SCREWING PEOPLE. AND HAS NO FEAR OF LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST HIM.

Inquired online about a puppy named Zaggy. Received an email explaining the puppy was on sale for $700 along with a free shipping coupon worth $250 due to another litter of puppies coming soon. They also stated they only accepted payments by Western Union, MoneyGram or Zelle. I asked for their address, phone number, city, etc which they would not give. They explained shipping would be out of Little Rock, AK. The puppies supplies kit you would receive. Pressing them about information on their company they went silent. Researched online and found a scam report.

We looked at several sights online and finally decided to get a s h i t z u puppy from this sight Shih tzubreedershomes. At first we communicated thru email. He wanted to know about us and what puppy we wanted. Said the puppy was available and would be $620 which included the shipping as we are in Arizona. Said I would get airline information once I made payment. So I did the $620 payment thru Zelle with my bank. He wanted me to do Western Union online but told him I'd never done that. Well several hours later he texted me wanting to know if I heard from pet transport company. Told him no and wouldn't you know fifteen minutes later I get a email from pet transport asking for more money, $995 which $30 was fee for caution crate and the $965 I would get back once puppy was delivered. Supposedly they said the breeder brought puppy in wooden crate which wasn't approved. So being a fool I did the $995 transaction and my bank flagged it and put my account on hold till I could talk to them. Thank god! Anyway, I texted the breeder and told him he'd have to wait. This was a Sunday so didn't hear from him till mid morning on Monday and said two flights were going out that day and he wanted to know if I paid pet transport. Ar this point I was talking to my bank and voided the $995 but couldn't get my $620 back. This person had sent me pictures and even a video of the puppy so we were so excited. In between waiting to talk to my bank late Sunday night I was looking on different sights getting ideas for puppy names. Well, I came across our puppy on YouTube. Same damn video and then found pictures also. This video on YouTube was posted 10 months ago. This so call breeder has no puppies at all. We were scammed! We are so heartbroken cause we had lost our dog in November and finally decided we were ready for another one and this happens. DO NOT USE SIGHT!
