“Officer Jeremy Page” called my work and said he was from the Sherrif’s Dept. He said I missed Jury duty and had warrants for my arrest for 2 charges- failure to appear in court and contempt of court. He convinced me that I needed to pay two fines of $300 each and that they would be immediately refunded once I came in and rectified the situation. He said I had to purchase pre-paid cards to use at the kiosk at the courthouse. He then had me get cash and buy the cards (Green Dot Money Pak) while remaining on the phone with him under a contact order. He tried to get me to tell him the numbers on the prepaid cards, but then I knew it was a scam.
