Called said a warrant was issued for my arrest for failure to appear in court due to missed jury duty. I never received a notice. The scammer gave me case numbers and other numbers to file at the Sheriff's Department. Like an [censored] I did not call the Sheriff's Department although my gut said to. I followed the scammer's instructions and actually gave him the number on the money card so he could complete my paperwork and drop the case. I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE CALLED TO VERIFY!

I received a call from 323-380-4347 claiming that I have a warrant out for my arrest because I missed a grand jury trial in which I was supposed to be a juror. They claimed that I had to pay a bail bond of $1,500 to have my case dismissed.

I hung up the call and did not disclose any personal information other than my name.
