When the consumer orders the product, it is not at all what they ordered, and is not the material the seller claims it to be. The seller uses stolen photos on their Facebook page, stating they are reviews from their customers, yet does not allow real customers to add their photos of the horribly inaccurate product they sell.
When you ask for a refund (even through third party payment methods such as PayPal), they ask for their product back. This is where the scam comes in. The cost of postage is twice what the product is worth and therefore, people are forced to keep said product and take the loss.
This kind of egregious dishonesty in selling products must be better regulated. Unfortunately, the only thing we - as consumers can do - is warn others when we’ve been scammed out of money.
