Well I became a member of Home Advisor on January 25th, 2018 on 29th I cancelled my membership because Hime Advisor was charging $18.00 for every lead well i called and complained about it because some leads were just an estimate, or im not ready right now, i already found someone or I seen your post on Home Advisor this one was thru a text not a text from Home Advisor but why shoumdbI pay $18.00 for leads that were not hire's but anyone the text i got on we seen your post on Home Advisor and we need your services ASAP to email them so I did and they said they were in Canada and was moving to Oklahoma her husband had a 3 year contract and that it was for two hours of cleaning for 470 weekly that they were moving here on February 21 that they would be sending a first week check to secure my services for them on Saturday the 27th January they messaged me or it was an email saying they were sending my check fedex and once I received it that I would go to my bank and use ATM deposit well my bank didnt have an ATM deposit so i went inside they put a hold on the check until tomorrow i emailed them and they said that their bank said it cleared to go to Walmart use my debit card and withdraw the 4,270 out for painter to send to Michigan at that point i knew something was not right i didnt do that I called my bank told them they said it was counterfit yesterday and the people were still texting, email and even had the nerve to call me this morning i told them it was a fake xheck and that you are not scamming me they hung up phone when i went back to my call log to see the number and screenshot it i dont know how it was deleated some of the emails are gone but I do have the text and a few emails. I am waiting on my refund back from home advisor I was in hold yesterday over an hour got to chat with someone today she said my refund was in process byt I dont believe them $288 their web site that they put more information on is not a secure website cause these scammers got my information and I hope I get my refund back.
