Shadles Goldendoodle Store Reports & Reviews (1)

- Las Vegas, NV, USA

We visited the website on Saturday, February 30th, looking to adopt a Goldendoodle puppy. The "seller" contacted us a few minutes later sending us pictures of the puppy we were interested, which we later found out were stolen pictures from an Instagram account. The "seller" explained how the shipping works, and we decided to go ahead with the payment. He gave us the option to use ApplePay or Zelle. The first puppy was $1,100 which included $800 for the puppy and $300 for the shipping. The same day we paid, he said he would ship the dog the next day first thing in the morning. Sunday morning, he texted saying the puppy had been shipped with a company called IAG Cargos! He even sent a tracking number. A few hours later, the "manager" of the company called saying that the puppy wasn't going to be able to board the plane unless we rented an electronic crate which was $1,555 but he assured we would receive a refund once the puppy was delivered. He also sent a receipt saying the company would accept all legal charges if they failed to refund the money. Also, at the beginning of the process the "seller" sent us a contract in which he guaranteed a healthy puppy! After renting the crate, the "manager" called again saying the puppy needed insurance which was priced insanely high. We asked if it was okay if we could get our own insurance and he said that would be fine, we proceed to get the insurance and then called and told him. He then said that they don't accept the insurance I provided and he said that the best option would be to get the insurance his "company" provided. After the insurance incident, he calls again saying the puppy needs vaccines and that he was very sick and that if he doesn't get the vaccines, he will miss the flight. At the time, the dog was supposedly in New Mexico and if we didn't pay the vaccines, the dog would have to stay overnight. After paying the vaccines and insurance, he said that it got too late that the dog will have to ship out Monday morning and that he will call us. On Monday morning, we already knew we had been scam. The "manager" calls saying we had to pay an $800 fee because the puppy had stay the night. We told him that we were not going to send anymore and that we want our money back. He then proceeded to yell saying if we didn't care for the dog. When we spoke on the phone with the "manager" it was very clear that him and the "seller" were the SAME person. They sounded the same with a very heavy accent. The Zelle account was linked to Erian Wiggins and his email which was [email protected] which wasn't that smart of him since he has social media linked to it. He's from Rome, Georgia. I also remembered that ApplePay only works with iPhones. I called the number that we ApplePaid, and he answers I start asking for my money. He hangs up and blocks my number. I'm not sure if we will be able to get our families money back but we do hope to stop these people or person from scamming people.
