I received the first email from geekssqd on 9/18/2020 stating my network security update was expiring and I need to pay $499.00. I disregarded it since I hadn’t purchased anything from geekssqd or Best Buy. I got a second email 10/1/2020 stating my service was extended 24 months for $493.55. I called my local Best Buy store and questioned the legitimacy of the emails. The told me it was a scam. Don’t ever call the number provided in the email! Call the local store.
