Was approached about running an ad in their paper. Never received a copy of the ad and was called by a person who knows "Sue Adams" and was told it was a scam and not legit at all

Senior Citizen Times also known as Citizen Times or Senior Times started 18 years ago in North Carolina. Address used at the time was 5535 Brickstone Dr. Charlotte. The phone person says she is with the publication and goes by the name of Luann Mason or Sue Adams. She is actually the owner Sue Oxendale. Her late husband William Oxendale was also the owner although he never went to pick up the money from customers. The publication is copy print in color. She states it is direct mailed to several counties. It is not. Mrs Oxendale only prints what she sells in ads, so that every person who advertised gets a copy. She lies as to who and where. She deposits the money into an account and some advertisers never see their ad proof. She also calls and states that she gives gift baskets to the seniors in the senior center. Never specifies which ones. NO BASKETS EVER MADE. She also has never paid taxes on any of the money she is given. Ads run from 75 to 550. In north carolina she took credit cards, but would bill the cards every month. This fake company needs to be exposed.

I was first contacted last year about advertising for this publication. States prints monthly. Then in January I was approached about donating to their senior baskets for the senior center. My colleague did print with them last year and received no publication. I believe this company is a scam. They are not a charity and they do not print their publication. The person is Sue Adams but when you look up public record you see it is Sue Oxendale. Even the name is not legit and they are not a registered business within Ohio.
