Tried to buy BitCoin so I could purchase something online by doing a bank transfer through an app I had used before called BTC. It was reputable and it wasn’t my first time, so I thought it’d be safe. Asked for SSN, driver’s license, address, etc., didn’t think much of it since it’s protocol for taxes when you register online with any account for bitcoin. Same day there’s multiple bank accounts created in my name and I’m receiving these texts of purchases I’m not even making and cards I don’t even have. They’re hackers and will ruin your credit. It’s a fraudulent company. Can’t even delete the account because there is no password to it and it won’t give me a password reset even though it’s associated to my phone number and email.
