Through a Mississippi based real estate company Keller Williams New Beginning, Seller Prepare LLC hires unlicensed contractor to perform work. After eighteen months very little work has been completed. The listing agreements with Keller Williams New Beginning is now expired. Seller Prepare LLC is demanding $36,400 in monies they state was spent to remodel my home. Work was performed but not in that amount. Chris Hare, the unlicensed contractor hired to perform the work, most likely pocketed most of this money. The only visible improvements are new floors, kitchen cabinets that are not installed properly. I have wires hanging every where and my home is in complete disarray after 18 months of poor project management and manipulation. Seller Prepare LLC wants me to sell my house as is in six months and pay them $36,400 at closing. My home was in bad shape for sure. I wanted to sell my home "as is" and start over. I could have gotten about $50,000 a little less for it. Now, I have no clue as to what I can get for it in the state it's in. I've learned that Seller Prepare LLC does not have a license to do business in Mississippi. Texas is not a reciprocity state. So, everything Joye Norwood with Keller Williams New Beginning told me is a lie and was illegal from the onset. Chris Hare and Seller Prepare LLC has threatened to place a lien on my home if I don't pay them in six month. I don't have $36,400. I'm seeking legal counsel to aid me in exiting from this nightmare.
