This "company" tried to hire me for a job position as a Quality Control Associate. They made a claim that I would inspect orders, take them for delivery, and then make a profit from that. I selected to have my email address (for paypal) to initiate the payment. They also asked for my Drivers license. They made the company look very professional and legitimate enough for me to believe it was real. They started me on a "Probationary Period". Meaning I would be receiving packages in the mail and I would have to send them in. After I told them to drop me from my probation period, they stated that they could not until I finalized the packages. I sent back one package and another shows its on the way. When I told them to stop, they threatened me with a message stating someone would then be coming by to collect the packages as it is company property. This is a very bad scam and should be taken very seriously. Maria Montano is the name of the female.

Maria Aldrecht was a the name of my so called supervisor hmmm.

did someone come to retire the packages?

I was contacted regarding a position I had applied for about a month prior to being contacted. The email had a few questions I needed to answer as to how to deal with issues that arise when dealing with packages and whi I would report it to. After answering, I was contacted again by email with job description, offer letter and how I wanted my payments. A few weeks later i started receiving packages and sending them off. Yesterday was supposed to be my initial first payment date. Nothing came. I called and left voicemails and emails. So far no one has responded. As of today for some rain I have not been getting any mail for about a week. They never asked for my social security number, just name, address.

Received the same job description as stated above; ecen talked to a Manager when I sent emails to escalate a concern due to receiving package that was invoiced to my name & my address. I was told I could accept ir return the package since it was against company procedures for the client to open accounts & put in employee name. They assured me that although docs show my name & address there was not an active account for that AT&T purchase. I sent the package back and was advised I would not get paid for it. I was okay with that; but at this time I had $120 funds pending for 3 pkgs that I processed. I opted to send funds to my Pay Pal account since this seems that most safe option. Thereafter, I did not receive anymore packages and when I sent an email to ask the delay in receiving additional packages- I did not get a response and now my log in has been locked out & I did not get paid!

Let's back up a minute. The person or persons who need to be held accountable for innocent people becoming victims to these scams are these online job sites. These are the guilty parties. They do little or nothing to make sure these companies are legit. As long as the scammers are able to pay advertising fee they get clearance. These online job sites neglect to take actions once negative reviews are posted about these scamming companies. the rule is: if you know about the scams and do nothing about it then you are as guilty as the scammers.

InspectHub

I did complaint on cyber crime and provide what they ask for, do complaint please

Emailed off a job board, with a great job opportunity but it looks to be a standard scam where you're put into a middle man position in a crime ring where you receive stolen items and repackaged them to be sent somewhere else.

Found a wfh job posting on Indeed with Inspect Hub, I applied. Was emailed from the company asking me to answer 3 questions and respond if still interested, at that point it seemed fine. They then offered me a Quality Control Associate position and asked that I fill out a payroll form, routing number and account number for direct deposit as well as sign an employee agreement. I then googled inspect hub because the number on the email was just a busy signal and the number I fou d was for a company out of TX called Inspect Hub, owned by the Ensemble Group and they told me the two were not the same and they have received multiple calls from people for this company. I then noticed the job agreement for had a different website and that site had another number, also just a busy signal. Called the local police where the site said it was located and they knew nothing but told me to alert my bank so I did and in the morning will be opening a new account now that the one I have, they have my account and routing number because it seems they steal your info, get credit cards in your name, ship packages to inspect and send out to their intended buyers all not knowing they are using your name on cards you didnt authorize to purchase these items. Please crack down on them before someone else gets scammed, possibly worse than I.
