Select Student Loans from LA, California offered to pay down or reduce my college loans and they also promised to have it all paid in ten years at a low monthly payment. This was suppose to be done back in April. It is almost September and my loans are late and hitting my credit report. THEY NEVER followed through on their offer. This company must be shut down because I was cheated. I paid all those up front fees received nothing for my offer. I really am furious because they have put more further behind. We have to protect future college students and others from this company and others like it. Many people will be scammed by these companies and it is not right. The Attorney General Office has been contacted as well.
