I purchased an ADT security system and was promised a $100 rebate card. That happened on January 19, 2016. I was given a form to be mailed within thirty days from the date of installation which i did according to the instructions on the form. I have been told that it took 7 days for the first class mail to reach its destination, and that I am not even eligible for 90 days from January 19, 2016, for this to be considered.

There is nothing on any of the paperwork which I received stating this policy. The only statement is "postmark must be on or within 30 days of the date of installation". On down the page of the rebate form there is a "Note: Please allow 8-12 weeks for delivery from receipt of rebate form". Customer service is now telling me that apparently this is an old form and is not their policy! This is the only form which I was provided.

I think this is a scam that the public should be made aware!
