Referral from "*** tech" when I was unable to understand him. Have checked with *** Rep and was told they do not refer to

third parties for support. Secure Fix person charged $1600 for "Lifetime network firewall security" and free technical support, one time

infections removal, free incident fixes for lifetime, and free security on all new devices. Name of organization: Secure Fix.

I was working on my computer and got a virus alert which said my IP Address was being used for illegal activities. The message told me to call 888-412-0444. I could hear other people in the background. They all sounded Indian. I thought I was calling Microsoft. They took remote control of my computer. They said this has stopped running and that has stopped running. My bank says the money went to Secure Fix. I paid them $250, and they said they unlocked my computer. I've canceled my debit card. My bank says they will get the money, but that I can dispute it.
