This company, if it exists, is sending e-mails purporting to be from a local veterinary hospital, when in fact it is coming from what appears to be a mail-order pet pharmacy on the opposite coast. This is patently dishonest. What loving pet owner wouldn't open an e-mail from their veterinarian (and then be confused/annoyed/furious to discover it's really an ad from a company they've never heard of)? This is a dishonest ploy from an evidently dishonest company just to get people to open their e-mail and, worse, to possibly assume an endorsement of the business by their vet. I have no idea whether this company actually exists or provides a worthwhile service since I don't open links from junk mail. I do, however, question any business that misrepresents itself in order to solicit business. FYI, no one in our family ever authorized that veterinary hospital to share any of our e-mail addresses with third parties, and I will definitely be questioning them about whether they engage in that practice.
