On 2/27/19 I purchased two clothing items from Scribestyle through Facebook. Upon receiving the items I was able to see the product quality was not up to my usual standards. Material was cheap and items didn’t look the like the same quality of what had been represented online. I was required to contact the company to initiate a return, which I did via email on 3/17/19. I learned that the items had to be returned within 30 days of shipment date. The return policy also did not cover the cost to send the items back. It took the business two days to respond and once they did they did not provide me with an address. They suggested that mailing the items to return would would expensive and maybe it would be better to give the items to friends. To me this was a stalling tactic to try to run out the 30 days return policy from shipment date. I promptly responded (same day) saying that I wanted to return the items. On 3/20/19 I was provided with an mailing address in Los Angeles. I was also told that items had to be in their original package and I had to send proof...such as tracking information. I took the items, with their original packing (plastic bags) to the post office and proceeded with the customer paid return. I sent the package back on 3/20/19 and followed up on the same day with an email on the details of the package, which was sent certified via 1 day mail. It is now 4/27/19 over one month since they received the return package and have yet to receive my refund. I have contacted them 6 times via email. They company has responded within a day or two to all my emails stating that they are processing the refund but their financial department is slow to process. In one email they even went on to say that they are not a scam and I just need to patient. On 4/26/19 I sent an email stating that my refund had yet been received and I was taking action with the BBB, my credit card and would be playing some feedback on the internet so all customer could be aware of their customer service practice. I again received a poorly worded email stating they had a problem with my refund and had to submit the paperwork again.
