Got a voicemail from an individual claiming to be "Officer Perez" with "county dispatch." Said there was a "legal summons" that would be served Thursday. Called back. Same guy, same voice, says he is "Michael Lawson" with the firm of Scott-Owen and Coners. Absolutely denied being "Officer Perez." Same guy. Denied saying he was with 'county dispatch.' Was very hostile, very rude, made lots of legal threats.

Pretended to be a cop, then pretended to be a lawyer. As far as I know, both are illegal in every state. Definitely illegal debt collection method.
