I received the following text message. I am skeptical of everything nowadays I mean, look at humankind nobody’s giving away anything not even kindness these days. But I decided to see how professional this guy was playing. I called the number (I didn’t text at first, I mean since when do you text a person about a million dollars? It’s laughable). It rang for a good 7 to 9 times before a voicemail said, the person you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time, please leave a message. No you’ve reached Rick Lewis? Odd you’d think a man would introduce himself in his own voicemail so that you know you got the right number to leave a message. Now maybe a lot of people have automated voicemail but that’s usually for personal use, this is supposed to be a business man right? He calls himself an agent after all. I decided to text, I sent only the claim code provided in the first text message. Immediately after that you can see I got a response. I’ve posted screenshots of the conversation below for anyone that might be interested in reading them. I tried to goat him into giving me his speech but I think he felt like I knew already and he stalled forever in responding and personal my life and time is worth more than listening to what I already know is bogus. I just don’t want anyone to get taken by [censored] like this so please double check all your messages and emails and don’t trust phone calls, hang up and call the company back, make sure it’s them. If it is the company they’ll understand, if it’s not then you saved yourself a lot of headache and grief. Be safe and be little kind out there!

Received a text saying the whole spiel about Scot James winning powerball and i was randomly picked to win 500,000 and a Ford truck. Told them I had no money. They wanted me to send 200 for processing fees and 300 to get it delivered from FedEx. Just has scam written all over it, doesn't it? But, they assured me it's not a scam. It's completely legit. Yeah, right.
