The owner and driver of Scoop Taxi listed in Apache Junction Az, named Arturo, texted me as a regular client of his taxi services in December 2021 and claimed he lost his wallet and asked to borrow $100.00 dollars from me in order to get a new driver's license and prove his identity to his bank, promising to repay me in 5 days on a Friday. I never heard from him again and since has disconnected his business number cell number and has made absolutely no effort in 3 weeks to call me, text me, or stop by my home to repay which is now obvious he had no intention of doing so to begin with.

I'm an elder disabled female on a pension budget and felt in good faith this thief was a business owner and would pay me back, especially as I ALWAYS way over tipped this young man for several months using his taxi service as I have no transportation.

I feel like a fool now and my finances have been completely messed up paying bills since I'm $100 dollars short.

I do have the original text message with his phone number saved.
