I attempted to purchase a puppy from a someone that went by schnauzer family. She wanted 650 for the puppy and then an additional 150 for transportation. I sent her the 800 by Zelle and received confirmation from her that the puppy would be shipped the following day. The next day I was sent an email by the shipping company asking for an additional 2700-3500 dollars. The tracking number and shipping URL appeared to be false (not working) and so I requested the person sending my puppy to absorb the cost of shipping (since they worked with the company and were confident in the refund). They replied they would split it - I again said no. I asked if there was another way to transport my puppy and she said no. I asked for a refund and there has been no contact since. The shipping company called again and asked for money. I said no. They hung up.
