I was called by the "ScamPulse.com" stating I was not home to receive my prize from Publishers Clearing House and the ScamPulse.com was angry and that "they shouldn't have to call me at home" (they called my work cell, not my personal cell). I was suppose to send my tax of $750 to the IRS by way of cashier's check.

I answered the phone and the caller said "my name is John Mathew and I am with the BBB, headquartered in Washington DC. The purpose of the call was notify me of a refund of the 305 dollars I paid for a computer cleanup, which was a scam. The people perpetrating the scam are now all behind bars and they are in the process of paying back all the people effected by the scam. He then gave me an ID code and stated he was going to transfer me for me information. It then sounded like he handed the phone to some one else. That person was named Shane Allen. Shane gave me a case number 152012RB, The RB was my identifier as it is my initials. He also gave me a code and number to look for in my computer and if that info matched they would refund the money. He wanted me to go to the computer to walk me though this. I then said I was busy and asked if he could call me back. I asked him to call back tomorrow at 10, he said he does not start until noon. He then stated he would call me at 11 and I was to ask for a password and if he said "code red" then we could continue. I then ended the call. Both people had heavy foreign accents.
