Type of a scam Government Grant

I received a message from my friend on messenger and told me about money that I might be qualified for. She sent me a link to go see if I qualified. Yes I was approved for a grant.
Had to fill out a form then was approved and told me it would arrive by FedEx in 3-5 hours and give the driver my numbers.
I asked my friend if this is legitimate and she said yes she already received her money. So I trusted her.
Now not so much . I haven’t given any money thank goodness

i was given her name and information threw my sister so figured it was true i have paid around 5 thousan dollars still no grant money, today i send a hundred she said it be the last that i would get my money . she ask for a apple gift card , i sent it the card was smaller then others i had sent , now she said she can't use the card its to small to get the larger card . yet they used the card if i would of seen this before would never sent anything what can i do about it. This scam started with a very close friend of mine from my home state of Michigan contacting me through Facebook Messenger. She was excited to tell me that she had been awarded a very large sum of money through a federal grant program. Then gave me a link to the home page of Julia Ann Pierson. All I had to do was send a friend request to start the application process. Once I was qualified by answering some basic information, I was asked to pay a processing fee. Then another fee. That is when I became alarmed. They used photos and information from the actual Ms. Pierson's Wikipedia page to make it all look official.
