The scammer gave three different options to pay the past due amount, which were 1) pay online; 2) d pay by using a banks bill pay service; and 3) pay by phone through loan service center. “The phone number is listed on your monthly statement.” The letter also stated “if you cannot pay the total amount due, please call the account officer listed below immediately.
