What happen next is they will ask for return of the fund from Enbridge mentioning it was done for the wrong account. most of this Utilities company have a Process loop hole. they don't take consent of their own client before this money is returned back to the scammers.
Scammers have got the cash and also have the money returned to original account back from the company.
This is the system flaw the scammers are using to scam our hard earned money

Type of a scam Online Purchase
A group of people located in an international country (most likely Pakistan) is providing a fake bill payment service to scam people.
They are enticing potential victims by advertising a 30% discount to anyone for any bill (phone bill, mortgage payment etc.)
They are asking for account numbers from potential victims of any bill providers that the victim owes to.
They then pretend to overpay the bill by a few hundred dollars. All that they are doing is sending a fake email that appera to indicate the bill was paid when infact it is not.
They are then asking the victim to send that overpayment back to the scammers through wire transfer or other methods, when in reality they have not made the actual payment, thereby scamming people for hundreds of dollars
