I have found an apartment for rent in Burnaby BC Canada posted on Craiglist. I'm about to enter a leasing agreement with a retired landlord, who is located in Spain and his son is studying in Australia, and Savills as a responsible third party authorized to handle this transaction. They sent me an email instructing me to transfer money to a personal bank account of their representative. I searched for the representative's name in Savills Madrid Branch Employee Directory and no records found. I called a Savills' employee in the Toronto branch if this is a legitimate transaction and confirmed that I got scammed.
