He asks for $1000.00 first. A week later, $1,200.00. The price went up because there was missing part - a "chip"? that would have to be shipped from the U.S. He states there are no mechanics on Vancouver Island who would take on the installation of the kits and be accountable (2016). I do not own a vehicle, so I refused his solicitation however, he repeatedly asked for $50.00 and when I refused, he said $20.00 then because he was short on cash.
