Save the Bees Project Reports & Reviews (11)

I was looking for a bee necklace and it came up. They are supposedly work with Cornell university in a project to save the bees and of you buy one of their products you are adopting one bee, and they send you certificate for that. All crap. They even have a fake "official cornell" page that mentions their cooperation. That's why I fell for it. I even checked Cornell's site to make sure there is a bees project, and there is guys, but not with those scammers. I can't believe I fell for that. The price was like 10$ and I paid extra 7$ for tracking number and fast delivery. I only got a photo of a bee with a little story about it and a blank certificate on my e-mail to edit myself and print. Oh, it was spoofed too. So guys DO NOT CLICK ANY LINK they may send you! Thankfully I paid with a temporary card for internet purchases that was destroyed after that. But I've sent them a bunch of mails and complaints on their site chat and the response was full of [censored]. That was a month ago, October 2022. Yesterday they showed up to say sorry for the delay and to ask me my address again because they cannot find it on google maps. WTF? I I told them they are scammers and that the address was fine, they don't need my exact location. I also told them they suck on communication and customer's service and that I also paid for fast delivery and tracking number. Guess what.. Today I got another spoofed e-mail with a fake ups tracking number. Of course I didn't click on it, and I checked in the official ups site and there's nothing there. Got sick of this. Of course there's nothing coming. I just want to warn you guys, not only to not buy anything from there but to not click any link the send you. It's full of computer and mobile viruses out there, they can do a lot of stuff!

This is definitely a SCAM. Placed order since November 2020 and still didnt receive anything today (Aug 2021). If someone is pregnant, a baby would be born too.

My first follow up was in Feb 2021 (yes, I empathise then due to pandemic. It could be a challenge), it went crickets. After numerous follow up, and asking them to process a refund since they are not responding to me, they finally replied my emailed only on April 2021 with apology and promise to throw in a "freebee".

After another 4 months, I still haven't received anything nor hear from them. I'm surprised they even paid so many people to write good things for them here.

I also noticed that they frequently appear in facebook and instagram with so many fake comments. They will thank the good comments. But never reply those who said they haven't receive anything yet. After some time, those comments were deleted too.

This is the first time I have bought something online without first checking the vendor's trustworthyness and reputation... On April 20, 2021 I went to their website from a Facebook ad, bought a pair of "Dancing bees" earrings, paid 21,90 USD, and also received an email stating that I could "make money promoting our products! ", and I shared a promo code on my Facebook... Three days later, I received an update on the shipment, with a link to a ridiculous website written in a broken English. Every few days I would receive an update of my order being "in transit". On May 13 I discovered that my order had been "delivered by post man" (!) on May 7, but I never got any package from them. Of course, I tried to contact them, but only then I discovered that their Contacts page was very unhelpful, containing only a contact form, an email address (mail addressed to this are never answered) and a telephone number supposedly in the USA (I live in Italy). Though the amount is not prohibitive, I decided to file a complaint through PayPal, which I had used as a form of payment. This is obviously a scam, not even that elaborated: I only fell for it since it was a good cause, and the testimonials (photos of women attesting the beauty of the the jewelry) seemed real. I should have checked their website, Scampulse and Trustpilot before buying anything from them!

Trustpilot has only good comments there.

I ordered a pair of earrings from their website on September 4, 2018 during and ongoing "just pay shipping" promotion I saw advertised to me on Facebook. I paid them a little over $10 for the shipping but never received the item. On two occasions I contacted them via their support email; once to no response, and a second time to which they responded with an automated email stating that they are under new management and that the support email I had contacted was no longer in use. I went to the website and filed a complaint to the "new owners" who are promising resolution for the countless orders that were never shipped. I received a response about a week later saying that they had "confirmation" from the previous owners that I had been refunded, however (as I expected) I have seen no such refund and this is day two since receiving the email which CONFIRMED that I already received a refund back to my debit card. I just want my $10 back, is that so hard to accomplish??? Also the new owners have no contact information and will only allow one way to file a complaint for the previous management in which there is no way to notify them that I have not received my money back. Everybody gets scammed at some point in their life, huh. It's a shame they are hiding behind what should be a good cause. Please do not let them take advantage of you as they surely have thousands and thousands of others!

I ordered 2 rings ($70 total) in September. The transaction page said it would take 2-4 weeks to arrive and it has now been 6 weeks. I have e-mailed the merchant, called, and facebook messaged them. They will provide generic automotaed answers in the facebook message, and never replied to either my e-mail and phone call. Do NOT order from this scam. The products have not arrived.

I saw a sponsored post on Facebook to order a necklace to support bees. I ordered this and received several "special offers" prior to check out. I have received several tracking numbers that do not link to shipment and have not received my necklace after three weeks. I have also had a mystery charge from this vendor beyond the original invoice.

I purchased a honeycomb necklace from the aforementioned website, which was supposed to be free of charge except for the shipping fees. The order number is 44181. I received an invoice and the website states the order was received and they were getting it ready to ship. That is the last update on the website; on numerous occasions I have emailed them about the issue, and they have only responded a couple of times saying if it has been more than 8 weeks the item probably got lost in the mail, and if I wish I could have it reshipped at no additional cost. I responded I did not want to wait any longer for the item and that I wanted a refund but I have had no answer on this matter whatsoever. The payment was done from my credit card on May 26th under the description "SP *SAVE THE BEES PRO PORT COQUITLABC AMT 9.94 UNITED STATES DOLLAR".

I saw an ad on Instagram for a "sale" that Save the Bees was having on their jewelry - just pay the shipping and the earrings were free. I paid $9.94 on August 4th and received a confirmation email for order #88946. I emailed them twice through their website to figure out where the product was because I hadn't yet received it, and I never heard back. This morning I received an email from the REAL Save the Bees Project (https://savethebeesproject.com/) notifying me that there had been a scam. What's interesting, I just now realize though, is that I had never purchased anything from the real Save the Bees Project, so I am wondering how they got my email address? If supposedly I reported my missing product to the scam Save the Bees. Now I just don't believe in anything!

On 7/3/2018 I purchased a necklace from Save the Bees Project. The necklace was “free” just had to pay the shipping $9.94. I received a order confirmation email that same day. My card was charged on 7/4/2018. There has been no email about my order be shipped and I have not received said order. I have contacted the company a number of times and have gotten no reply.

Against my better judgment, I made a purchase through this website on 6/16/18. After being inundated with sales emails following the purchase, I emailed a request to cancel my order on 6/17/18. Since I did not receive a response from them, I submitted a request via their online form on 6/18/18 to cancel my order, but again received no response. I sent another email 6/19/18 requesting they cancel my order. After looking more thoroughly through their website the FAQs lead me to believe that this is a scam company and that I would never have received my order from them.
