SAT/ACT PREPARATION Reports & Reviews (4)

Received a phone call from this company asking for me to confirm mailing address. Stating that my son had indicated (at school) that he was interested in sat prep course.(which i later found out he had not done.) They just needed to speak to a parent. They sold me. I purchased the material because they said that if we sent the material back within 30 days we would get a full refund. It took 2 weeks to receive the material at which time we suffered a death in the family. I called and spoke to rep requesting an extension on keeping the material. The rep stated it was no problem and that as long as they received the material they would issue a refund A few weeks later i returned the material. i called about 1 month later because my credit card company had declined a $69.95 fee from this company. When i called he said it was an annual fee i had agreed to. I also wanted to check on status of refund. The rep (same guy) stated he would submit a request for refund. 2 weeks later i received in the mail, the material i had mailed back to them with a Return to Sender label. Once again I called customer service. Th same rep then told me that i would not be getting a refund and that no one would have given me an extension or told me to keep the material. He was the only rep i had ever spoke to. After going around and around, he told me there was nothing he could do or that i could do.

This company has no physical address or website. This a a scam for sure!!! Thank goodness my credit card company flagged the 69.95 fee as suspicious and contacted me. I'm still out $250. My fault in trusting this company and not doing my homework

A lady identifying herself as Kelly Winfield contacted us seeking payment for SAT Prep materials that were being sent to my daughter. She explained that if we returned the materials within a certain time frame, we would receive a full refund. The materials were immediately returned to the sender as soon as it arrived. After 3 months and numerous phone calls to the company, we still haven't received a refund. The company claims they never received the material back from us. They attempted to charge us for another product, but we stopped that transaction.

Had call from organization saying they were with the College Board and my student signed up for upcoming SAT and they had important materials to send. They are free if returned within 30 days, but needed to pay deposit. I made mistake and paid. I received useless materials and returned according to their instruction. When I didn’t get refund I called and was told they received materials and I would get refund. Then I received materials back marked refused. I phoned and was told I did not send back in time. I disputed, have receipts, man hung up. When I notified College Board they let me know this was not them, they never make calls like this. Somehow this organization has specific information on high school students. Beware, it is a scam.

A couple of days after filling out information for my upcoming SAT, I received a call from someone claiming that they would be send SAT study material that would be refundable as long as we sent it back to them within the allotted 30 day period. However what we received in the mail was a counterfeit product which we had paid 200+ USD for. It is likely that collegeboard sold my information to a third party, that reached out to me.
