In May, 2023, I applied for an apt at Wyndchase Apartments in Canton. I was dealing directly with Sara "Grace" Curry. I was told the application fee of $75 was non-refundable and the $250 security deposit was refundable. In the Application Process document however, they do not call it a Security deposit but a "Reservation Fee". With this distinction, the would not refund my money when I decided to rescind my application. Today, I saw a review of another person explaining the same experience (https://www.apartmentratings.com/mi/canton/wyndchase_734844240048187/u-5244870/...⇄ I've never heard of an apartment complex not refunding the security deposit during an application process and I would ask that your company inquire about their practices.
