I placed an order for a basketball tumbler glass online for $25.34 which included shipping costs. An item was shipped to me but it was a low ball size soccer ball glass…..not what I ordered. I reached out to the company and received an email response saying they would give me $5 back to just keep the glass as the cost for ME to return the item would be over $20. I wrote back that the $5 was unacceptable as it was their mistake by sending me the wrong item. I asked that they pay for me to return the item and send me the correct item or just refund me for the cost of the glass. They wrote back offering $10 and said the item I actually ordered was no longer available. I repeated my options I would accept. I have now received an email giving me a return address to return the item that I will have to send back on MY expense in order to receive a refund. I will pay more to ship it back than I’ll get in a refund. Therefore I will lose money to return a glass. I also am not getting refunded for the item I didn’t receive nor am I getting the item I ordered! Here are some pics of the emails I received.
