I was called by this company regarding a loan taken out by someone I have never met (they left a voicemail). When I returned the call, the automated line requested my customer or loan number (which is nonexistent) or my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. It took forever on the phone (putting in 0 for any number they asked for), before I got to speak with a person. I informed the person that he was on speaker and this call was being witnessed by a 3rd party. I also informed him that I have NO knowledge of the person they called about, and that (since someone else tried to file my taxes last year) thst I had credit alerts with the 3 major credit bureaus , the ftc, etc. After telling him this, he apologized and said they would not bother me again.
