To access the federal grants database a non-profit must stay registered with SAM.GOV. I received emailing phishing for me to renew but through this scan site. I learned later SAM.GOV is always free for renewal. So I followed the directions in the email to renew our registration with the federal government grants database and I was prompted to send a check for a one-year renewal for $499. I did pay this with our company credit card. Just to learn that I was scammed. tried to call the # on email and it is not their # according to the person that answered.
