A gentleman called, identifying himself as Oliver Green, stating there had been charges amounting up to $6000. made on my personal Sam's Club card. Mr. Green was able to tell me my social security number, home address, and club card number, which made me believe it was a real situation. However, I was able to have my secretary contact Synchrony Bank to inquire if any recent charges were made. I was able to verify the last charge I made was correctly recorded. That is when I knew Mr. Green more than likely was not telling me the truth. I immediately ended the call and canceled my Club card.
