Contacted scammer on Instagram to purchase bearded dragon. Made 2 payments $400 each August 3 and September 2. Upon receipt of final payment, the bearded dragon was to be shipped to us. As soon as he received the final payment, his Instagram account was taken down. We had no way of contacting him. I contacted Venmo, who I made them with, and they can't help resolving this issue. We felt we were getting scammed and contacted the referral source Patrick Spinney, and he said no that Yosef (Joseph) was waiting for shipping box. That was on September 9. On September 12, we texted him to find out when we were getting the dragon. I feel that Patrick is part of the scam. Never heard another word from Joseph.
