We received what looks like an invoice for $1,781.00 worth of safety supplies. It has a remittance stub at the bottom. When we called to ask about it, they claimed it was "just a quote". We wonder how many businesses receive the "quote", and just pay it, as it looks like a real invoice.

We received a document by postal mail addressed to our business. The document looks like an invoice. There are 5 products listed with costs totaling $1769. There was and order ID as well as instructions where to mail checks. I called the company to ask who placed the order as I did not have a corresponding purchase order for this company. Safety Supply Center told me that this was not a bill but a quote requested by our company but they could not tell me who requested the quote. I was then told we would be removed from their system. I checked around and no one in our company has ever contacted Safety Supply Center. After running a Google search we determined that many other companies received the same quote with the exact same products and total. This company is clearly mailing these out at random hoping someone does not read the fine print and pays.
