Representative came to door saying they were with ATT. Turns out they are an alarm system provider and "an authorized ATT/ADP representative." I listened to the pitch thinking it was ATT and my bill would be reduced. I signed the paperwork and stupidly gave my email address and last 4 digits of my social (only excuse was I really thought I was dealing with ATT). I changed my mind immediately afterwards and called/texted to cancel the transaction. I was assured it was cancelled. HOWEVER, this morning I received a call from a financial advisor saying he received my email stating I was very ill and wanted some money transferred! I contacted this company again and was told it was a coincidence regarding that email. I don't think so and told them I would be contacting the ScamPulse.com to report this.
