I called Safeco Insurance (1-888-723-3260) to make my insurance payment. I was redirected to a promotion for a $100 card to use at major retailers, and a magazine subscription, in exchange for $1.95 charge on my credit card to use a discount promotion at restaurants. Once finished, they said they would direct me to the company I was looking for and gave me a number. I tried the number again on my statement and it directed me to Safeco Insurance. The company I believe to be a scam gave me two numbers to call to cancel these promotions or my credit card would be charge $29.95 after 15 days of trial. The numbers that were given are 1-877-230-4476, and 1-888-808-6528. They said they were an inbound call center providing service for many company's promotional offers, they would not provide me with a name of the "inbound call center" they work for.
